Years ago, the Lord gave me a vision of a church testimony book. He called it a “living book” — one that was not to be bound, because it would continually grow, just as God continually pours out His blessings upon us. It would be organized by category so that anyone facing a particular life challenge could quickly find encouragement within its pages.
More recently, the Lord showed me that He wanted this book to be introduced with Scripture emphasizing that He gives without favoritism. At 2:00 a.m., He even guided me in what the outside cover should look like and impressed upon my heart that the time to begin collecting testimonies is now.
He said this book would serve two purposes: to draw the first-time seeker toward the heart of God, and to remind this body of believers that God is still in the business of miracles and answered prayers, just as He was in the past.
Last but not least, this testimony book is intended to ignite a spark of longing in casual visitors — those who may attend church only on Christmas or Resurrection Day. May they read what is written here and receive a revelation of what it means to have a true, deep, personal relationship with God through our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and through His Holy Spirit.
As you prepare to enter these gates, may you sense His Presence and be blessed beyond the limits of your imagination.
